Let's see them together in detail, for an unforgettable holiday: - Sas Underground Archaeological Space: an entire block of mixed archaeological remains (mosaics, some rooms of a domus and the remains of a tower), located in Piazza Cesare Battisti; - Lake Toblino: located a few kilometers from the city, it is an alpine lake dominated by a fascinating castle, a suggestive and panoramic place; - The Science Museum: replaced by MUSE starting from 2013, it is a very large exhibition space within the Le Albere district, in a building designed by the famous Renzo Piano; - the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore: a Renaissance-style building, known for having hosted the Council of Trent in the 16th century; - if you pass through the city during the Christmas period you will notice the wonderful Christmas markets that extend through the main streets and are also linked to the traditional feast of St. Thomas on 21 December; - Monte Bondone, which overlooks the hamlet of the same name and the city of Trento. It is a mountain group consisting of three peaks, an ideal place for winter sports and hiking trails. It is also known for its botanical garden and nature reserve; - Palazzo Pretorio, located in Piazza Duomo, was the ancient bishop's residence, today the seat of the Tridentine Diocesan Museum; - the Buonconsiglio Castle, one of the most famous buildings in the city, a bishopric dating back to the 13th century, houses various works of art; - Piazza Duomo, which is the main square where many events are held and buildings such as the praetorian palace, the cathedral or the eagle fountain overlook; - the Cathedral of Trento or Cathedral of San Vigilio, located in the square of the same name, in Romanesque style, is the main town church.
