The beauty of Agordino.

In the province of Belluno it is possible to visit a very fascinating place. This is San Tomaso Agordino, better known simply as Agordino. We are talking about a town of just over 600 inhabitants located in the mountains, and characterized by a typically alpine flora and climate. Beauty is where you don't expect it, in this place full of peace. The municipality of Agordino began to take on more and more importance during the Middle Ages. There were periods in which the community was autonomous, others that instead favored emigration in search of work in the other valleys. This emigration was fundamental for the place, because it allowed the population to get in touch with the culture and art of other great territories such as Venice. Just the Church of San Tomaso is enriched with decorations, symbols, tools, and every form of art that people were beginning to know. It is a small area to be discovered, populated by beautiful and kind people, ready to give a pleasant welcome to the tourist.
