Cernobbio, ancient stately villas on the shores of the lake

We are located on the western shore of Lake Como, we are in Cernobbio, a city overlooking the lake full of greenery, elegant buildings and history. One of its main attractions is the most beautiful villa in all of Lake Como, Villa Erba, built in the late 1800s, commissioned by Luigi Erba, brother of the famous pharmacist Carlo. This villa, together with its enchanting park, can be visited during events and fairs. Another majestic residence is Villa Bernasconi, in Liberty style, also built in the late 1800s. It has two floors, a basement and a turret, today it is a beautiful museum with an interactive and multisensory experience. Even the historic center of the city will enchant you, Piazza Risorgimento, in fact, overlooks the lake, here the Monument of the Fallen, in bronze, from 1923, and continuing along the tree-lined lakefront. Its main sacred building is the Sanctuary of San Vincenzo, dating back to the twelfth, a very particular structure, fascinating even in its interior.
