Zocca is a Modenese town famous for being the birthplace of Vasco Rossi, and for the birth of Punto Radio, a local broadcaster that boasted Vasco among its founders. The territory extends over the Modena Apennines, which attracts visitors for the possibility of simple walks and paths in the suggestive nature that are within everyone's reach. Biking and trekking activities are also possible, as well as the presence of wildlife and amusement parks. The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, is the main religious building, while the civil buildings to be admired, almost all of medieval style, are the remains of the Castle of Monte Theseolo, the ruins of the Castle of Montetortore and the Torre Rangoni di Rosola. also part of an old destroyed castle. The area is rich in culinary tradition, the typical products are the crescentina (or tigella), and the 'cunza' a Modenese pesto for which there is an association, the 'Compagnia della cunza' with an adjoining borlengo museum, another product typical, a sort of thin crepe that is often stuffed with cunza. In addition, the 'Chestnut and chestnut festival typical of Zocca' has been held in the center of the town for more than forty years.
