Let's discover Trento

Trentino Alto Adige is not only famous for the wonderful holidays between nature and snow that it can offer, but also for the city of Trento, nominated among the Italian cities in the first places for the quality of life, and it is waiting to be discovered. Embraced by the mountains and crossed by the Adige river, the city of Trento is full of museums, it is home to the famous university, but you cannot visit it without passing through the center of citizens' life, the Piazza del Duomo. And it is in this square that we find the symbol of the city, the fountain of Neptune which is over 250 years old, the one in the square is however a copy of the original statue of the king of the sea, which is kept inside the town hall. And as the name of the square implies, this is where the Cathedral is located, the center of Trento's religiosity and dedicated to San Vigilio, the patron saint of the city, and its treasures are kept in the adjacent building: a rich collection of art that includes paintings and works. On the top of the doss Trento hill, on the other hand, there is the imposing mausoleum dedicated to Cesare Battisti inaugurated in 1935, in the center of which his remains and the bust created by a Trentino sculpture are kept. There is not a perfect time to visit the city of Trento, but certainly in December, the traditional Christmas markets offer a magical atmosphere. Because Trento is like this, capable of giving visitors unforgettable history, culture and atmosphere.
