Forlì, the heart of Romagna, was born more than two thousand years ago, already rich in culture and masterpieces to be discovered. The best way to savor it is to travel it entirely on foot or by bicycle. Crossed by Viale della Libertà, which is characterized by monuments and buildings from the 1920s - 1940s, such as the war memorial that appears in all its grandeur in the center of the street. The aeronautical museum, with inside the mosaics that trace the history of flight. Through the public gardens of the city we find the Rocca di Ravaldink, from 1472, from which Caterina Sforza ruled, until Cesare Borgia returned the city to the papacy, firing on the walls. Entering Corso Diaz we find the statue dedicated to the great doctor Gian Battista Morgagni. From Corso della Repubblica it is easy to get to the Palazzo del Merenda, which contains works of art, and important museum collections from 1700 onwards. The heart of the city is Piazza Saffi, where the bloody battle of Forlì took place, remembered by Dante in the Divine Comedy. A city rich in noble palaces and churches from the 1400s, it is a city rich in history and art.
