The Conti Beraudo family of Pralormo has owned the castle since 1689 and commissioned the architect Ernesto Melano to design the current structure and Xavier Kurten to organize the garden. Currently the family has chosen to make it open every day, by reservation. The Messer tulipano event is well known, when the blooms of more than 100,000 'tulip hats' alternate in the flower beds and in the woods. On the occasion of the visit, the ancient crafts are retraced, carried out in the five rural suites, including the herbalist's room and that of the coachman. In addition, a collection of velvety roses makes the walk romantic, where you can get to know the variegated rose of Bologna, each with different streaks on the petal. The French greenhouse, built in the 19th century, in iron and glass protects many species of cultivated orchids and ornamental ferns. In the forest of trees, animated by birds and wooden gnomes, the visiting children go in search of Mr. Binoculars' workshop, with many strange instruments and the tree of kaleidoscopes, from which slides dangle that also deceive nature.
