San Giacomo Cardini ski resort

Mount Alpet is part of the Cuneo mountain area and from the 1611 m peak you can see the valley of the capital and the Monviso. It is known as a place of refuge for Captain Mauri's autonomous partisan brigade, fleeing the Nazi-Fascist roundups of 1944. The ski area has been set up with 35 km of slopes within the reach of every level of ability and the school camp is equipped with rental, instructors and night lighting, for those who want to take full advantage of all the moments of the white week. The two two-seater chairlifts and the six ski lifts lead to the slopes where you can go free or with a snowboard. For the little ones there is a play area, where they can try sledding and play on slides or inflatables. In Cardini, living the atmosphere of the past, you stay in a familiar and welcoming structure. In the Borgo, moreover, it is possible to attend the volleyball fields and the Alpet bike mountain, a park for having fun on a bicycle, along paths of varying difficulty. Liset water, pure with therapeutic properties, is drawn from the public fountain.
