Where: tartano
(Val Tartano)
Genre: nature   fun

Within the Orobie National Park, a local association for the enhancement of the small hamlet of Tartano, has carried out the project for the bridge. 234 meters long, it is made up of 700 Larch wood planks and flies over the Tartano stream at 234 meters above sea level. The side protections support hikers, who travel along it feeling a strong feeling of adventure. The bridge connects Campo Tartano at 1034 m with Frasnino at 1038 m and connects to the Sentiero dei Ponti. The 3 and a half hour ring crosses pastures, woods and maggenghi with mule tracks, meeting other minor bridges: the wooden bridge of the Pèscia, the Tibetan bridge of the Corna, which is anchored to the rocks with steel ropes, the Vicima bridge with the gallery dug into the ridge and the Dil Sirti bridge. The total difference in height is 450 m, which winds through the ups and downs of the Val Tartano mountains. The project, conceived on the idea of similar structures in Austria, has brought Tartano back to the center of the excursion destinations, the Sky Bridge is a flight of birds in search of freedom, which can hear the ringing of grazing cows and the scent of milk on the stove to divide the cream and shape the cheese.
