Albergo diffuso”, literally “spread-out hotel” in English, refers to a hotel whose rooms are in buildings of a historic town centre. The Aquae Sinis’s charm comes from the re-use of three ancient seventeenth-century residences in Cabras’s original urban centre - Thermae, Mistras and Pontis – while the main building houses the reception, the restaurant and some other bedrooms, and two additional houses are available for guests. All buildings have been elegantly restored in the traditional architectural style using bio-construction techniques.
