The Cignella Resort was born from the transformation of an old pig rearing farm, set between the Val d'Orcia and the Val di Chiana, two of the most beautiful and famous valleys in the Province of Siena, with more than 200 years of history. Left abandoned when that business became unprofitable, the present owners were struck by the unique position and picture postcard views and set about creating a modern and luxurious resort where a traditional Tuscan stay blends with the more modern ideals of today’s traveller.
