Peveranza and the memory of the past still alive

Where: cairate
(Cairate)
Genre: culture   folklore

Once upon a time Peveranza was a village in its own right; today it is a very curious fraction of Cairate to visit. Somehow, here it is as if time has stopped. There is an old house, which dates back to the mid-eighteenth century, full of artifacts from the past. It is not a question of things of value but of what were the objects of everyday life of the past. The owner has decided to keep everything as it was, and to let people visit this museum of memory today. And that's not all. The Palette Group, which is part of the Pro Loco and which brings together painting enthusiasts, has decided to create canvases. These paintings depict the crafts of the past, the way people lived in the past. The paintings were then hung in the streets of the small village, in order to embellish and enrich it. The people who are part of the group say they want to keep alive the values of the past, and to put their emotions and memories of how Peveranza once was in each work of art.
