Where: verona
(Verona)

Our walking tour of Verona, a city famous for its Renaissance and medieval architecture, begins with a walk through the streets of the city, discovering vegetarian and vegan restaurants and historical places. The first stop is Piazza delle Erbe, the main square of Verona, in addition we indulge in a coffee and a slice of cake, in a very famous vegan café, Dulcamara, open for breakfast and lunch. We continue our tour through the streets of the city and arrive at Piazza dei Signori, a square surrounded by buildings that delimit its perimeter in a fascinating way. Verona is also famous for Shakespeare's play, “Romeo and Juliet”, it is in fact possible, after a long queue, to visit the balcony that inspired the play; a stop at the statue inside the courtyard which contains a legend is unmissable: whoever passes his hand over the breast of the woman represented in the sculpture will be lucky and will be able to return to Verona. The next stop is the Torre dei Lamberti, where it is possible to climb and arrive at the highest and most panoramic point of the city. We continue with the visit of the arena of Verona, built in the first century, it could accommodate up to 30,000 people. The arena is still used today for shows and operas and can be visited by paying an entrance ticket. For lunch, we stop at a vegan restaurant, Flora, which has a buffet service. We continue to walk through the main streets full of shops, such as Via Mazzini. The last stop is the Old Castle of the thirteenth century.
