Borzonasca and the rich Ligurian nature

Borzonasca is a town cradled by the gentle slopes of the Ligurian Apennines, in one of the most fascinating and beautiful corners of Italy. The vast territory that embraces it is enclosed between the coast and the highest Ligurian peaks, giving the eyes of those who look at it a rich variety of landscapes. Borzonasca is a town with a strong religious tradition whose essence can be grasped in the presence of various architectural works such as the sanctuary of the Santissimo Salvatore, inside which it is possible to admire a 16th century table depicting the Madonna, and the oratory of San Rocco, in the heart of the country. The oldest heart of Borzonasca beats a few meters from its center in the hamlet of Perlezzi, between alleys and suggestive houses, while in its green lung made of woods extends the artificial lake of Giacopiane, in a lush natural environment.
