Santa Teresa Gallura is one of the most fascinating tourist destinations on the Costa Smeralda. The main attraction is the 80 kilometers of coastline, but also from a naturalistic, historical and archaeological point of view, the town offers many opportunities. The geographical position, in the northernmost part of the island in correspondence with the Strait of Bonifacio, meant that human settlements were very ancient. In the area it is in fact possible to visit some archaeological sites, for example the Nuragic sites of Lu Brandali and Sa Testa, which date back to the Bronze Age. Another example is the Spanish Tower, dating back to 1500, and also called Torre di Longonsardo. Its position is very suggestive, it is located on the promontory that divides the bays of Santa Reparata and Porto Longone, and stands imposingly on the sea. The heart of city life is Piazza Vittorio Emanuele I, with clubs, shops and strolls. Among the most famous beaches there are: the Rena Bianca beach, crystal clear water and Mediterranean scrub and the Rena di Ponente beach, before reaching Capo Testa.
