Several paths are possible to visit the island, but one of the most popular is the one that leads up to the mountain where the sanctuary of the Madonna della Ceriola is located. A religious place, the most important on the island, but also a respectable vantage point. From here there are several paths for the return that lead to the various hamlets such as Peschiera or Olzano, you can choose according to the time available. Other places of interest are the Martinengo Tower and the church of San Michele Arcangelo. The place has as its typical traditional products certainly lake fish which is often served dried. Drying is a typical technique of the place. Not just fish, however, another typical dish is migola, a sort of coarse-grained salami served with polenta. Monte Isola is in the heart of the Franciacorta and Lake Iseo territory, so it can represent a starting point for discovering these other places.
