Poseidon Thermal Park

The Poseidon Thermal Park is located in Forio, it can be reached in about 30 minutes starting from the port of Ischia, also by bus, the Citara stop (the last of the bus), is located 100 meters from the park entrance. Poseidon is the largest thermal park in Ischia with around 20 swimming pools, restaurants, a wellness center, 8,000 square meters of beach and 500 hectares of coastline. It mixes nature with the thermal water pools, the pools contain water that varies from a temperature of 28 ° up to 40 °, you can also find three swimming pools with sea water and a thermal steam cave. Inside the structure there are non-thermal swimming pools for children. We find the Retusa basin with water at 36 ° which allows us to admire the fantastic panorama of the Bay of Citara. Then there is the Kneipp path to reactivate the circulation of the legs, passing from hot water to cold water. Towards the bottom of the park is the spring from which the water gushes out at 90 ° and forms a channel that runs around the entire park. The gardens are built in terraces, so going up the hill it is possible to find other pools, the thermal water cascade and a beautiful view of the bay and the park. There are also indoor tubs and lounge chairs located near the dressing rooms and lockers. To access the pools, a swimming cap is mandatory; It is also advisable to allow some time for immersion between one tub and another if they have different temperatures, perhaps taking a bit of the sun on one of the many beds available in the park.
