Where: la-maddalena
(La Maddalena)
Genre: culture   nature   fun

The Maddalena archipelago is made up of seven islands and La Maddalena is the largest of these. As we can see from the beginning of the tour presented in the video, the ferry is the only accessible way to reach this beautiful island, renowned for its beaches and crystal clear waters. The city of La Maddalena is a colorful seaside resort; walking along the harbor and exploring the streets of the city we discover that this is full of gift shops, cafes, restaurants and ice cream parlors. In the video we can admire the parish church of Santa Maria Maddalena, inside which the Crucifix donated by the famous admiral Nelson is kept. Another attraction to visit is the Nino Lamboglia Naval Museum, which testifies to the history of the city, founded in 1770 and for a long time it was the base of the Navy. The island is crossed by a panoramic road that surrounds it and allows you to visit the splendid beaches and inlets of the island; among the most beautiful beaches are the Monte d'Arena beach, the Bassa Trinità beach, the Testa di Polpo beach and finally the famous white sand beach, Cala Spalmatore.
