Once, where Zibido now stands, there were numerous distinct villages. It is now divided into two main ones, and Zibido, which dates back to the era of the Lombards, is the oldest. The city is modern but rich in monuments and historical places, such as the church of Santa Maria Assunta, the church of San Giacomo, that of the Nativity and the church of San Pietro, all dating back to periods between 1400 and 1700. the Palazzina Pusterla Busca, a farmhouse with an imposing crenellated tower from the 1400s with frescoes from the 1500s on the inside depicting courteous scenes. Its Cascine are full of mills, they are really a considerable number, being a territory that has always been dedicated to agriculture.
