Today we are in the Isarco Valley, in Trentino Alto Adige, 15 kilometers from the Brenner border; let's go to the discovery of Vipiteno. The city enchants the visitor with its unique charm which makes it one of the most beautiful villages in Italy; we are located 950 meters above sea level and the city is surrounded by the peaks of Mount Cavallo. Gallina and Stilves. Entering the village we can admire the old and new parts, ideally separated from the main square where the Church of the Holy Spirit stands, which houses the traditional display of nativity scenes, and the Tower, which has become the symbol of the city. Along the rectilinear axis, instead, a new city emerges, at times with arcades, on which late Gothic embattled buildings were reconstructed. Examples are the Albergo al Giglio d'Oro, the Albergo l'Aquila d'Oro and the House of Judgment in the city. There are numerous paths that lead to the surrounding peaks chosen by trekking lovers. Moreover, in summer, we can attend the wonderful Lantern Festival that illuminates the whole village and the neighboring villages, offering a breathtaking view.
