To the north of Lake Garda, in the lower Sarca Valley which is the tributary, we meet the lake, surrounded by the Marocche and located at 214 m. It is accessed from the side of the sailing school, while the remaining perimeter is touched by the gigantic boulders, collapsed in antiquity, by the Brento and Casale mountains. The particular characteristics of temperate and not wavy waters make it populated by many fish species, including lake trout, pike, chub and perch and pleasant for water sports. Here an excellent school is set up that teaches children to navigate in a canoe or on the SUP and to know and love the area, having fun and gaining safety in the water. In addition, the surf school is also open, particularly suitable for beginners who, on calm waters, can better understand and manage the thrust of the wind. On the road between Dro and Pietramurata and with the well-kept lawn, shaded and served as a refreshment point, the lake is a scenic stop for cyclists or passing tourists.
