The path leading to Pesaro starts from Gabicce monte, an ancient medieval village. Walking on the coastal path that climbs the cliff, you can enjoy a wide view of the coast and the crystal clear sea. The cliff drops sheer to the sea, yielding its harshness in some valleys more slopes or in spurs that stretch out to the water. The Mediterranean scrub is thick and among flowering gorse, heather and olive trees live deer and foxes that it is not uncommon to meet. From the path you can deviate to the pebbly beach of Vallugola, full of colorful shells, where it is wonderful to immerse yourself in the clear water and observe the fish biodiversity that swirls on the rocky and uncontaminated seabed. Resuming the journey through the pine and oak groves opens up more open areas with ruins or buildings from the late imperial era. Among these, Villa Caprile and the monumental garden are worth a visit. Arranged on three levels connected by stairways, it offers walks among eighteenth-century water games, pomari and flower beds of aromatic plants arranged among the labyrinths of box hedges.
