The ancient traditions of Cercepiccola

Cercepiccola is a small village located in the province of Campobasso, where many inhabitants have emigrated elsewhere in search of fortune. They act, sing and dance in a unique show in the world. The typical dishes of Cercepiccola are stuffed escarole and pizza and soup. In addition to the Carnival, another important holiday is that of the patron saint San Donato. The history of Cercepiccola is that of a feud passed from owner to owner up to the Carafa family, who built the Ducal Palace in 1571.
