The wild nature of the Val di Non

(Val di Non)
Genre: nature

The Val di Non is a territory that extends in Trentino Alto Adige, between the provinces of Trento and Bolzano. 38 municipalities are part of this valley and are surrounded by imposing mountains such as the Maddalene, the Roen, the Peller and the Brenta Dolomites. All these reliefs allow visitors to make splendid excursions in which to enjoy a breathtaking view of the area. In the Adamello Brenta Natural Park there are important plant species but above all animals such as deer, chamois, golden eagles and brown bears. Not to be missed for those who are in these parts is the wonderful Lake Tovel which belongs to the catchment area of the River Noce. The Santa Giustina Lake located near Cles is also very beautiful. It was formed about sixty years ago after the creation of a dam. Also part of the enchanting Val di Non landscape are extensive apple orchards, pastures and shelters where you can taste typical products such as speck. An ideal place for all those who want to escape from city stress and be in contact with nature.
