Cycling in Val Rendena

Val Rendena has set up a cycle / pedestrian path along the Sarca river that is fun and within everyone's reach. It runs through the lush fields and along the mountain frame of Madonna di Campiglio. Accompanied by the roar of the water course, we are supported throughout the journey by areas equipped to stop and play with the children, bike-grill for refreshment and pump tracks where you can train on the dunes and learn to control the bike. The rope and steel bridges that cross the Sarca from time to time are adventurous and allow you to playfully exchange the observation points of the valley. Once in Carisolo you can visit the Church of Santo Stefano which, perched on the granite, dominates the town. Inside, the frescoes by Baschenis such as La Danza Macabra and Carlo Magno are worthy of note. The old Bohemian glass factory is also worth a visit. Here, thanks to the abundance of Quartz and the driving force of the river waters, crystals were produced in the 19th century. Now the museum showcases the work tools, crystals and documents of enlisted glass masters from Bohemia.
