Only for the most adventurous and nature lovers: aquatrekking at Rio Cannas di Burcei

Burcei is a small town in Southern Sardinia but mainly frequented by the more adventurous tourists. It is here that it is possible to practice AcquaTrek, a sort of fusion between trekking and bathing because the paths are linked to waterways such as rivers or lakes to be crossed and bordered. Right in the Sardinian town a path on the Rio Cannas is practicable, suitable for adults and children. The path was born in a natural way because the water of the river has dug the gorges over time, creating the various natural pools. We foresee dives and crossings of the river bed, where possible, with the possibility of bathing in the pools that are located along the path. A fun way to face the summer heat by having an experience in full contact and respect for nature. The contrast between the rocky walls, usually made of granite, and the clear water of the pools, make the landscape very suggestive. A walk that fits perfectly into the visit of the city of Cagliari because it is located a few kilometers from it and also very close to the mountains of the Sette Fratelli.
