The path leading to Framura starts from the eastern part of Deiva, which extends from the ridges of the Apennines to the coast. Among the most scenic of the Cinque Terre, the road climbs the ridge for half an hour. The Mediterranean scrub and the large maritime pines perfume the gaps that overlook the sea. Corners of the woods and small villages seem to dive into the waves, the cultivated terraces torn off the slope of the mountain speak of traditions. We cross the villages of Casa Serro and Anzo Setta to go down to Framura. The road here is gentle and goes along the hillside to decline to the port with a stone staircase. The port located in the inlet welcomes small boats in the clear water and it is very romantic to take another walk. There is still time to explore the marina before taking the train back to Deiva where we can enjoy the sunset, from the beach or from the cliff, which floods the houses, the Church of Sant'Antonio and the Saracen Tower with colors.
