Trekking between the Brembilla and Imagna valleys

Where: berbenno
(corna marcia)
Genre: nature   fun   useful information

This path is within everyone's reach and can be followed all year round even if the spring period is preferable, due to the abundant blooms that line the path. It starts from the Forcella di Berbenno taking path 571. Initially the gravel road is wide, soon we arrive at the path in the woods which has a great variety of trees. Between oaks, larches, pines and alders a beautiful clear light filters through. The undergrowth flora inhabits the slopes and the scent of the essences will accompany you on your journey. You pass the plaque of the partisan who deserves a stop and a reflection. The path becomes steeper and stony, the wood more sparse and perched. After 1.30 minutes you reach the summit at 1033 m. From a glimpse we observe the Bergamo valley, the Brembilla valley, Mount Linzone and the ridges of the Risigone. Walking further along the ridge, the view opens up over the coast of the wood-covered mountain that abruptly surrenders to the industrious valley and the villages of Sedrina, Lizzo and Ponti.
