Aosta is an Italian town of about 31,000 inhabitants, the capital of the Valle d'Aosta region. The city is located in the middle of the valley, on the plain where the Dora Baltea river flows, in a valley surrounded by mountains. Its position strongly affects its climate, which tends to be alpine and with very cold winters. The video shows ten places to visit in Aosta and its surroundings: in tenth place, the Archaeological Museum, which testifies to the presence of man from Prehistory to the Middle Ages in the Valle d'Aosta territory. In ninth place, we find Forte di Bard, a fortified complex that has remained intact since its construction. In eighth and seventh place, the Basilica of San Lorenzo, an early Christian basilica with its archaeological excavations, and the Cloister of Sant'Orso, one of the most celebrated sacred places in the area.
