The heart of the historic center, a characteristic and suggestive intertwining rich in medieval elements surrounded by the tranquility of nature, is made up of the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the bishop's seat, and the Castle in which the Cornaro lived. Between the narrow streets and squares every second Sunday of the month the famous Antiques Market takes place, attracting enthusiasts and not from all over the Veneto region and the nearby regions, in which it is possible to find furniture, jewelry, prints, silverware and books, valuables. The geographical position that touches the area of the vineyards makes Asolo the center of production of some renowned wines, among which Prosecco and Montello are the spearhead for notoriety and diffusion.
