Casaleggio Novara is an Italian town of about 900 inhabitants in the province of Novara, in Piedmont. Being a very small village, there are few monuments that can be visited inside. One of these is the Church of Sant'Antonio Abate, which is located far from the center but close to the countryside, along a road that connects Castellazzo Novarese and Casaleggio Novara. What now remains of the Church is a ruin: its roof is no longer present, but only the side partitions and the bell tower, which with a square base rises on five different levels of height delimited by frames. Unfortunately, the outside of the church is no longer visible: this is due to the fact that the external creepers cover its appearance. The mystery behind this building makes it even more fascinating. Lost and ruined in the middle of the rice fields, it offers breathtaking landscapes and stories to tell: it is said that this church is haunted by the ghost of an old parish priest who, having buried money near the structure, is believed to make appearances in the hope of find it.
