The Pollino Park is the largest national park in Italy, located between Calabria and Basilicata, it takes its name from the mountain massif that crosses it. It is a natural area that offers many possibilities for a holiday immersed in nature, in well-being and fun with sports and various attractions for adults and children. The first stop is the Bosco Magnano waterfalls which are located on the Peschiera stream. A place immersed in the peace of nature where you can lie down or take a bath. The park is so extensive that it includes several cities and municipalities, one of these is Rotonda, in the province of Potenza, which is located right in the heart of the park. It is a place full of life and folklore. It is a very lively tourist resort due to the presence of the park, but also well known for its various typical food and wine products. Going through Rotonda allows you to arrive in another very characteristic natural place of the Pollino park: the Demonio waterfall. A few kilometers from the center of the village you arrive in this uncontaminated place where you can make different routes. One of these is 'the water way' where it is possible to cross several viewpoints to get to the waterfall. Last stop the 'Lavender Park' in Morano Calabro. It is a company that cultivates and processes lavender, making it possible also to guided tours in these fields with an unmistakable scent and color, in addition to the purchase of many lavender-based products.
