Angolo Terme: a rich and relaxing tourist offer

At the foot of Monte Vareno, a few kilometers from Brescia and immersed in the Valcamonica, stands Angolo Terme, a village known for its healing waters and ski resorts. The town, despite its modest size, therefore offers visitors the possibility of winter tourism, curative, but also summer thanks to Lake Moro, where bathing is possible. The coniferous and broad-leaved woods also allow hiking and trekking. The thermal waters are exploited thanks to an equipped complex immersed in a large natural park where it is possible to admire the thermal springs that flow from the Dezzo stream. Waters that are useful both for healing purposes and for the production of cosmetics. Not only nature, however, the town is also known for its handicraft production, in particular that of blown glass and the art of carving on wood. The historic center has a very ancient character, and the centerpiece is the church of San Lorenzo. Not far away is the church of the Visitation, dedicated to Saints Mary and Elizabeth, while the church of Saints Nazaro and Celso and the hermitage of San Silvestro remain noteworthy. While in the hamlet of Mazzunno there is the church dedicated to San Rocco. The typical products of the place from a gastronomic point of view are: capù, polenta, mushrooms and salami.
