The three best beaches in Villasimius

Villasimius is an Italian town of about 3,600 inhabitants, is located in the province of Southern Sardinia and is a renowned summer tourist resort. Its western part is occupied by the mountains, while on the eastern and western sides there are several beaches and the marina. Its urban center, on the other hand, is located about 1.5 kilometers from Simius beach. The three most beautiful and popular beaches of Villasimius, we mention: Punta Molentis, from the hilly area to the north-west and flat to the south-east, which is located about 3 km west from Villasimius. In second place, we find the Spiaggia del Riso, a beach that runs alongside the port but enjoys beautiful water despite this proximity, and takes its name from the white color of the sand, which refers to that of rice. The third most beautiful beach is Porto Giunco, set among the vegetation of eucalyptus and juniper. This has a shallow water and is protected from the wind, has crystal clear water and is therefore loved by families. Its beauty is accompanied by the presence of the Torre di Porto Giunco, an ancient sighting site dating back to the Spanish period, 9 meters high.
