(Bienno)
Genre: culture

Bienno is a charming town of almost 4000 inhabitants in the province of Brescia. The symbol of the town is the Statue of Christ the King which with its characteristic golden color dominates the whole Val Camonica. Also worthy of note is the Hermitage of Saints Peter and Paul positioned on a natural terrace from which you have a magnificent view of the surrounding valleys. It can accommodate about fifty guests and inside there is a well-stocked library. Typical dessert of Bienno that is absolutely recommended to try is the Spongata. Also not to be missed is the Casa degli Artisti which contains many valuable works as well as the Forge Museum where you can learn a lot about the craftsmanship of iron. Very beautiful are also the Church of San Faustino and San Giovita and the Church of Santa Maria Annunciata. Lovers of nature and outdoor sports, on the other hand, must absolutely take a walk in the Quercus Wood. In short, Bienno despite being a tiny town offers many opportunities for leisure for tourists.
