Segusino, a quiet place surrounded by nature

Where: segusino
(Segusino)
Genre: nature

Segusino has to offer peace, silence and the beauty of the Treviso Pre-Alps, between a lot of greenery and a wonderful climate. Segusino's great gift is above all the great spirit of communion with nature; in fact there are many excursion itineraries that immerse themselves in these lands. The most important is the stretch of the European path E7 that passes here, but the excursions on Monte Zogo, among lush pastures and cattle, are also interesting. Itinerary no. 1002 of the Path Map, which leads among the hazelnuts up to the nineteenth-century church of the Madonna Help of Christians, in Milies. The latter is the larger of the two hamlets of Segusino, undoubtedly the most populous. The other is Stramare, almost uninhabited, but which captures for more subtle reasons. Between exposed brick houses and dry stone walls, in winter the tiled roofs are whitened by the snow, generating a spectacle of rare suggestion: a magical village surrounded by white forests. The silent and rustic alleys, beautiful both in the frost and in the spring colors, know how to whisper the right words to those in search of quiet and simple delights. Segusino gives the visitor an emotion different from the everyday ones.
