Selva di Val Gardena

Selva di Val Gardena, nestled between the suggestive Dolomite landscape and between the Sasso Lungo and Sella massifs, is one of the most popular destinations for summer and winter holidays in the province of Bolzano; offers visitors long snow-covered slopes for skiing and sledding, ice skating rinks, climbing ice falls and much more. In fact, summer awakens nature, during the summer it is possible to go trekking on long mountain trails and mountain biking, so as to be able to fully immerse yourself in nature. Scattered around the mountain there are numerous dining places where you can taste the delicacies of the area such as cod alla trentina, pandolce di Bolzano and strudel. The mountain grass is cared for by local farmers who cut it using both modern and older machinery. Selva di Val Gardena is part of the Puez-Odle national park with its 10,200 hectares it includes a large plateau of the north-eastern Dolomites; which is characterized by its great scenic beauty.
