Anversa degli Abruzzi is located in the Abruzzo region and is part of the mountain community of the Peligna valley. It is a very small village, inhabited by a few hundred inhabitants, lying on the Gorges of Sagittario and for its particularities it is part of the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy. It is a place surrounded by nature and rich in historical decorations. It was a place of inspiration for many writers, the most famous Gabriele D'Annunzio, who set his greatest work there. But Antwerp is not only characteristic for the cathedral and its buildings, it is also a nature reserve and in its surroundings you can take several paths, to fully explore the landscape and its natural wonders. In fact, right from the center of the village you take a path that leads to the Gorges of Sagittario. Here you can visit the botanical garden, and follow two paths: the river path and the geological path. This place is ideal for a trip out of town and to spend a day outdoors with the family. Here adults and children relax and breathe pure air, listening exclusively to the sounds of unspoiled nature.
