Genre: nature

Val Brembana is a territory in the province of Bergamo of great naturalistic and cultural interest. To fully enjoy its beauties, everyone is advised to take the following excursion. Starting from the town of Carona, after a 20-minute walk, you arrive at the picturesque village of Pagliari made up of characteristic stone huts. Continuing along the path you arrive at the wonderful Val Sambuzza waterfall. Resuming the journey, you then reach Lake Prato which is located at 1664 meters above sea level and is surrounded by pastures and malga. Continuing the route you arrive at Lake Fregabolgia with its dam whose waters are used to produce electricity. Finally we arrive at the Calvi Refuge near which there is the beautiful Rotondo Lake. After all this road, here it is possible to relax and eat some typical dishes such as Braised with Polenta and Pasta alla Boscaiola before returning to the starting point in Carona. An experience certainly to do for all lovers of nature and outdoor sports.
