We are in Catanzaro, formerly called the letter of the three v's, in Calabria. Let's go and discover the beauties that this town reserves for us. We start by crossing one of the dozens of bridges that dot the city, the Bisantis Bridge, also known as Morandi, considered the symbol of the city, arched bridge and the work of Morandi. Crossing Piazza Garibaldi we meet the Church of San Giovanni Battista. In the historic center we go to visit Villa Margherita, called by the inhabitants Villa Trieste, is the municipal villa and historic garden of the city, built by Umberto I. On the other hand, important archaeological finds dating back to the Greek and Roman periods have been found, which testify to the presence of villages scattered throughout the Corace valley. The finds can be admired in the archaeological park of Scolacium. We still admire the Mediterranean Biodiversity Park and the lido, walking among the beaches of Pietragrande. We conclude our visit by passing through Piazza Matteotti, the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception and the Lambretta Museum. We leave the city passing on the shores of Lake Arvo.
