Incredibly Perugia

Today we are in Perugia, one of the most beautiful cities in Italy, perhaps more beautiful than it is known. Let's go immediately to discover this wonderful city! Crossing Piazza Piccinino we can be struck by the beauty of the buildings that surround it; if we look carefully we can admire what at first appears to be a well; in reality we are facing an Etruscan village, one of the most fascinating and evocative places in the city where time seems to have stopped. It is possible to access it by going through a long medieval tunnel that goes down deep below street level. Arriving in Piazza IV Novembre, what was once considered the largest square in the city, we find Palazzo dei Priori, a symbol of temporal power, and the Cathedral, a symbol of spiritual power. Still in the same square we appreciate the Fontana Maggiore, dating back to the Middle Ages, built in celebration of the aqueduct built in 1200 which carried water from the mountain to the historic center.
