Val di Fiemme is one of the most famous natural areas in Trentino. It is located in the north-eastern part of the province of Trento. Together with the Val di Cembra and the Val di Fassa, it represents the hydrological basin of the Avicio river. This torrent originates at the foot of the Marmolada, the fulcrum of the Dolomites. The combination of mountains, lakes, rivers and the possibility of hiking practically always, for this place, is astounding. The valley, however, is not only nature, but also offers the opportunity to learn about and deepen the local culture, as well as the opportunity to visit many towns and villages, which represent small jewels of art and history. Therefore, visitors can wander around the villages that preserve their traditions and the most intriguing forms of modern art. For example, you can visit the Museum of Uses and Customs of the Trentino People, which is the most complete ethnographic museum on the history of Trentino and on the culture of the inhabitants of the valley. The natives have a strong sense of identity and a strong attachment to their origins, testified by the fact that the ancient Lombard-style institution 'Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme' still manages the huge wooded heritage and preserves the historical heritage of the Val di Fiemme. It is simply a small portion of the world, as small as it is immense; to discover without a doubt.
