The best time to enjoy this beautiful city is from spring to summer, to be able to admire the fields full of flowers and the turning of the wheat. In order to admire its countryside, the hidden villas and the suggestive views, a bicycle is recommended. Of course, its excellent traditional cuisine can be appreciated between one round and another and a sweet break can be enriched with raviola, a shortcrust biscuit filled with Bolognese mustard, that is a jam made from quince, pear, quince, lemon and orange peel. ; for over two hundred years it has been celebrated in March with the Raviola Festival. While at the end of June, the CondiMenti, a festival dedicated to food and literature, is held in the setting of Villa Salina. Its hidden gems, to be admired, are the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca with the longest portico in the world, the Navile Canal, ancient farm courts, tower houses and many villas from past eras.
