Feltre, a small town located in Veneto, in the province of Belluno, with the Dolomites and the Feltrine peaks behind it. The ancient part of this very elegant city rises on the slope of a hill, the hill of the goats. Mountain landscapes and natural beauties, the best way to visit it is on a bike. The historic center is composed of a characteristic vertical village, typical in mountain villages. Piazza Maggiore is the hub of city life, where the Civic Museum overlooks, the theater de la sena also called the palace of reason. There is no shortage of religious buildings, majestic and evocative, such as the Duomo, the Church of San Rocco. Below is the archaeological area, testifying to the fact that Feltre was already inhabited in Roman times. The Albino Castle and the Imperial Gate are wonderful. The first Italian printer, Panfilo Castaldi, was also born here. A visit to the Pedavena Brewery is recommended, where the ancient beer is tasted. Moving towards the Feltre peaks we find, surrounded by greenery, the reconstruction of the Lourdes grotto.
