In Vermiglio, discovering the agricultural festival

In the province of Trento, today we are in Vermiglio, for one of the most anticipated events in the region: the feast of agriculture. A very interesting moment of celebration just a few steps from Passo del Tonale. Organized by the proloco of Vermiglio, in recent editions the party has taken a different form; in fact there are animals, horses to show children how once they were used to pull the timber; then we admire peasants who collect the grass, as it used to do in ancient times, the wagon, on which the hay was loaded, where it is possible to take the little ones for a ride. Among the delicacies they offer us, we can enjoy polenta, stew, ribs and more typical products, such as Lucanian cheese and steaks. It is also given the opportunity to taste fresh milk and there is the opportunity to see how it was treated in ancient dairies. Still we could admire all the species of animals present on the farms. A festival dedicated to taste and, for the little ones, a way to learn while having fun.
