A journey into the heart of the Dolomites

Nova Levante is located a few km from Bolzano and the Adige Valley, it projects us directly into the heart of the Dolomites, which are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town in summer is surrounded by the green of the immense expanses of woods while in winter there is the pure white of the snow that covers the whole landscape. The village has preserved its rural origins and it is possible to notice it from the typology of the building structures, which give the village the appearance of small alpine centers. Along the original Via delle Dolomiti, towards the Costalunga pass, you reach Lake Carezza, a real natural pearl; the lake is surrounded by stunning specimens of spruce while the waters are popular with arctic char. The Carezza area is ideal for those who love mountains, rocks and the sports used for them; there is a chairlift which takes you to the top of the mountains, more than 1700m high, where the Rosadira bike festival takes place every year, a whole weekend in which you can enjoy various attractions. A few minutes from Nova Levante, it is possible to reach the slopes of the Catinaccio. Do not forget the culinary tradition of the area, ready to delight with its typical products such as canerli, speck and much more, even the most difficult palates.
