The Euganean Hills Regional Park is an area of environmental protection located within the territory of the Euganean Hills, a hilly group of heterogeneous height and shape of volcanic origin, which stands isolated on the central Venetian plain south-east of Padua, occupying a area of about 22000 hectares. Established in 1989, it is the first regional park in Veneto. The park's visitor center is Casa Marina, in Galzignano Terme. Center for naturalistic education, it hosts schoolchildren for the study of the characteristics of the territory, flora and fauna, it is also a hostel for those who want to relax and an information point for hikers who walk the numerous paths of the 'area. In the center there is also the Botanical Garden of the Euganean Hills which reproduces, in its habitat and integrated into the surrounding environment, the very rich plant diversity component of the great biodiversity of these places. In this area there are also the Adventure Camps playgrounds, organized in the summer for children from all over Italy. Inside the Park. Surrounded by greenery, there are villages, churches and castles that constitute a unique historical, artistic and cultural heritage.
