Anguillara Sabazia

We are in Anguillara Sabazia, in the province of Rome, on Lake Bracciano, 195 meters above sea level. Its origins are very ancient and its historic center is a real jewel. Let's go and find out now! The peculiarity of the city is the presence of two lakes: the Martignano lake and the Bracciano lake, the first within an enchanting natural park. Other natural beauties are the Giardini del Torrione and those of Pescatori. Inside the town we go to visit the Church of San Francesco and the Church of the Madonna delle Grazie, now a sanctuary. The Madonna is important for Anguillara Sabazia, in fact two historical festivals are held in honor of the Madonna. We continue our visit with a boat ride, which allows you to go around the whole lake which has a circumference of about 35 kilometers. We conclude our itinerary by reaching the historic fish market of Anguillara where we go to discover the fish of the lake; among the most delicious we find the mullet, the perch, the whitefish and the pike in light.
