Bressanone in the Isarco Valley

The beauty of the places that South Tyrol has to offer is certainly not new for lovers of made in Italy holidays, among these there is certainly the city of Bressanone in the Isarco valley. The first unmissable stop when visiting this splendid city is certainly the one at the Hofburg palace built around the mid-1200s, which today houses the diocesan museum inside which it is possible to admire paintings, statues and a characteristic exhibition of cribs among the liturgical ones in the Christmas ones. Strolling through the city center you cannot escape the imposing and splendid building that is the Cathedral of Bressanone, it will be very suggestive to walk the adjacent streets that make up the center of city life and experience the city among its activities and small glimpses. Not far from Bressasone it is possible to visit the well of the 8 wonders, built around 1500, it represents the 7 wonders of the ancient world, but adds an eighth wonder which is that of the Augustinian Abbey of Novecella, a complex structure made up of several buildings.
