Auronzo di Cadore

We are located in the province of Belluno, in Veneto, in Auronzo di Cadore, known for hosting the Three Peaks of Lavaredo on its territory. Located in the northernmost part of the Veneto, near Cortina, it extends along the left bank of Lake Santa Caterina. Surrounded by woods it has a unique panorama. It has an ideal climate and environment for walking, cycle and pedestrian paths extended for 8 km, rich in cultural events, it is one of the most sought after destinations in the Dolomites, a UNESCO heritage site. There are many sporting events such as international canoe and dragon boat competitions, up to cultural ones such as the Wood Sculpture Symposium at the Tre Cime Incanto review, to continue with mountain running competitions and cycling events. Very ancient city, probably already inhabited in Roman times, given some finds of coins, it preserves the two parish churches and a muse of recipes opening where there are four sections, life and earth sciences, archeology, the Great War and activity mining.
